the one gripe I do have is with the power companies in one state building new infrastructure for a neighboring state to pipe power out for data centers but then raises rates on the locals to fund it, something def needs to be done about that

I don’t get the issue with the data centers, maybe instead of looking at just the data centers they should look at all the rest of the land in the US along with it and see how truly small these things are.

Is this feeling about a call being such a potential meteor strike on your day normal and acceptable? I’ve always been of the mind it’s a skill I need to improve, but this reads like it’s an acceptable but insurmountable personality quirk to work around, am I too much of a perfectionist and stressing myself out? Feels like a soft skill but maybe I’m just burning myself out trying to get good at everything.

it’s fun and ironic that “having a memory” is what AI appears to lack the most in practice while at the same time it demands more computer memory than anything to run

To expand on this, the posture is really so important, this muscle the iliopsoas connects inner hip to low back on opposite sides, forward head sometimes also has anterior pelvic tilt, anyways your diaphragm is connected to this muscle and if it’s tight, or holding your pelvic in a tilt, it can make the diaphragm not be able to take full breaths. I’ve done some relaxation stretches you can search for this muscle, like laying down with one knee bent and leg up like a square and other leg straight out or slightly elevated, and “dead bug” yoga, and found my breathing suddenly improved on several occasions.

I always thought as a stomach sleeper why not get one of those massage table head rest things, face down symmetrical and wouldn’t gravity help keep things open then? Just have to build it into a cozy bed, not sure if that would be comfortable though.

the damage seems to be neurological / local nerves, I haven’t tried chewing gum but the best/fastest results I’ve had for this so far has been lions mane + micro dose of other mushrooms, smell therapy has been reported to show benefit also which probably matches the chewing gum thing, rebuilding/recalibrating the nerves slowly over time

This makes the Minecraft model look all that much better than it already was, users pay for an account, the servers are self hosted by the community, as far as I can tell on the surface level Minecraft would already comply with this legislation.

When it comes to writing I only use AI for writing technical documentation or basic page copy, never for anything that is purely writing or for communication like a blog post, or a paper, or an email, or a letter, or a book, or even marketing copy.
Basically only use it for anything I wouldn’t otherwise have the time to write but isn’t important to be written by me.
I actually can’t fathom using it for writing as a principle, to me it’s just a keyboard extension for code generation, never a replacement for the written word that should be in my voice and fully a stream coming from my mind that I should have full editorial awareness and memory of.
Now that I think about it I’m a snob in this regard, I turn my nose up at people that use AI to write things that are purely written, in my mind using it for writing is defeating the purpose of writing!
