During a job interview I was asked what would be a personal goal of mine in the next five years, and my answer was 'understand completley all the technical postings I read on HN'

Today, there are less and less technical posts, and more fanboyism, rumour, gossip.

Turnover is a big challenge. Pinoys aren't always motivated purely by cash. I lived there from 2008-2010 and filipinos are very receptive and intelligent people.

Boston area comcast my only choice. I called them today because I need to activate new service and I was told the 250GB cap is mandated by the government and not comcast. When I asked for details I couldn't get any further.

nice, i use tmux daily as a sysadmin, but i'm anti-mac ...

terminator + tmux in vi mode works nice for me.

just like your doing with virtualbox. thats fine

next do this

* make sure you're using bridget network adapter (in the vm settings inside the virtualbox gui)

boot your linux image in virtualbox. login root , set up a ssh server.

> if deb apt-cache search sshd , if rhel/centos yum search sshd, then go ahead install...

obtain the IP: (type ifconfig) and then you may go ahead , minimize the virtualbox (like hidden),

* crank up a putty terminal via ssh and login baby!
