Let’s be honest, it was DOA. Even Gruber admitted to it later. The whole thing was basically a scam.
Edit: I will never understand why people think ACA was so great. It was a bad policy because they couldn’t get it through whole. They passed it with all the compromises that made it DOA. You can’t fix something when you are still in denial about it being bad. ACA is not a transition to universal healthcare when you allowed massive consolidation in the space with some of the biggest companies in this country. Good luck deconstructing that mess.

You mean obstacles from politicians who took money from the healthcare industry. That’s how we ended up with PPACA and they used it to justify massive cost increases and consolidations. They passed that junk to save face and now healthcare is far worse. But we “closed” the donut hole, right? Quite literally made everyone worse off and no one wants to talk about it. I still can’t believe they allowed payors such as UNH to buy up everything without ANY proper investigations during that period.

I’ve stopped using OpenRouter this year. And I stopped using different models for testing. Anthropic won. I’ve even let my OpenAI API credits expire (which is a ridiculous policy in itself) because I had no need for them.

All the money in the world and Zuck can’t buy anything worthwhile in AI. The problem at Meta is really Zuck taking interest in AI. Perhaps the adults should steer him back toward VR unless they all left.

I was once ghosted mid interview day. They left me in conference room and completely forgot. I was going to walk out after 30 minutes but I just wanted to see how long I could stay there. It took them five hours. And this was in a “highly secure” building so not sure how they invite someone to interview and let them just hangout inside the building for five hours.
