Reminds me that anecdote, not sure who it was, he was wondering where are the Caesars or the Hitlers of our time, all that brand of ambitious, manipulative and dominant personalities. The answer, he found, was that nowadays those people are absorbed into corporate instead of going into politics.

Well, not your fault, most of the resources out there are just made to make a buck, or a click, it's pretty much hopeless nowadays. What I do usually is I try to find used books, they're cheap and often better. Doesn't work for all subjects obviously.
For C++, I'd download a working draft of the standard, that + examples on stackoverflow will teach you more than a 6 foot stacks of the latest books on the subject.

As you said, the first level is the language syntax, var, control flow etc.
Second level, data structures, list and list comprehension, dictionaries etc.
Third level, recursion and algorithms, or how to solve problems in python, what you'll often see it referred as "the pythonic way".
Don't be too academic with these that it becomes boring, but just enough that you start feeling comfortable building some small console apps, that can read and write files, crawl some pages from the web, that kind of thing.
Once you're good with that, you can start with frameworks. The danger you want to avoid is to start too soon, and have a hard time separating the complexities of the language with the ones from the framework.

What is the language lineage? Is it functional or imperative? Dynamic or statically typed? Garbage collected or not? I wish every introduction to a new language would contain that kind of info, it'd be so much more informative.
Edit: missed one, natively compiled or VM based.

Of course you should, you're gonna live a good additional 50 years, do you want to spend them doing something you don't like?
Python is good language to start, concentrate on that first and keep js for later, it's a complex language that may confuse you more than anything else.
Mix theory and practice, learn and build console apps, avoid web dev for now, you don't want to confuse yourself with all the web framework stuff. Your goal at that point should be to learn the language and how to think like a software dev, not learning some apis or frameworks.
27 is a good age to learn, technologies are always changing so, even at that age, you can learn and become an expert at something, and after a few years, nobody will ask you for how long you've done it.

The whole streaming industry is a joke. It's like fast food for the brain, and I include HBO in it. Where are the documentaries, where are the interviews, there are so many good stuff to watch out there, why the only thing available on all those services is junk, stupid nonsense fiction? I include amazon in that critic.
>For what reason do you dislike autoplay?
Because it doesn't bring anything but distraction. If I want it to play, I can click, if I want to browse, I don't need a preview. Most of their movies is shit anyway so why would I need to preview them?
> It's admittedly not the best but certainly no worse than any other streaming service
Amazon is way better, both on their app and website.
EDIT: amazon (prime) is better for the search, content wise, it's the same poor selection of violent movies and idiotic documentaries.
