I think at some point apple prevents app store developers from "duplicating functionality" or something like that.

They don't seem to say why it didn't work.
I wonder if it was not just the change in gauge, but tolerances as well.
I got to see "Dr. Yellow" running on the shinkansen line and it checks everything out.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Yellow
I wonder if the slower-speed lines have looser tolerances.
Then maybe running the gauge-change train on the slower lines might kill the train's tolerances before it moves back to the super smooth high-speed lines.

I think a lot of their apps seem to be "placeholders" for some more comprehensive app someone else will make.
Maybe it is just a ploy to get people to find a replacement app in the app store, and get apple 30%.
or maybe "you're not the target market"... more complete apps are more complicated and might not be apple-like enough to create. Apple aligns more with simple than pro-user.
I wonder, does every apple user eventually become sophisticated enough to be "not the target market"??
sigh.

you do not understand... Not run on, run IN :)
I'm saying the older version of macos could build/run INSIDE the container
just like on a ubuntu 24.04 system you can do:

 FROM ubuntu:16.04

or

 docker run ubuntu:16.04

and though I haven't tried it, I believe docker can do arm in x86 using an emulator (like rosetta)

Sure, now ford has cancelled the lightning, but they now have people who know about EV technology deep within their stodgy ICE stronghold.
Right now there are 14,000+ satellites in earth orbit, 11,000+ are from the US, and 10,000+ of them are from spacex.
By any objective measure, he has figured stuff out.
