I cannot fathom this is an effective way to turn things around. I was thinking about how somone with a bit of self respect and decent skill set will just find another employer where they can be valued more (the bar is really low now) .

This, to me, seems like an effective way to get rid of effective talent.

It must be a testament of how extensible eclipse is that I am here doing embedded/firmware development for SiLabs and ST micro-controllers and both of them (out of the box) use their own customized version of eclipse. It's gotten better but it's still painful even to just setup a dark theme that works w/o a lot of tweaking

I am confused. I thought "permissive change" referred to the ability of a device maker to avoid having to do a full fcc recertification when making changes to their device (hardware or firmware) that did not affect rf emissions

I would argue that the ad, as it is, proves her point well. Political ads tend to make claims/conclusions that tend to be believable or within the realm of possibility.
