Having casually read into a few recent incidents the vector has often been outside of software. A lot of mis-configurations or simply attacking the human in the chain. And nation states have basically unbounded resources for everything from bribes, insiders, and even standing up entire companies.

Biotech is still in its infancy and mastering DNA would open up a new frontier where humans can edit the genetic code to what makes a human. Assuming it isn't universally banned.
The only truly depressing future to me is if interstellar travel really is as hard as it seems to us now. There kind of needs to be a physics/propulsion discovery on the order of magnitude of electricity or the journey can only be feasibly made by the immortal AI robot race that replaces us.

They are used to treating women like children who never grow up. There is always a guardian in charge of them. It is crazy to read they've set up a website to send notifications and disable family members from travel.
They only just allowed women to vote/run for office a few years ago, and women to drive last year. This is a great produced piece by nytimes as well:

I've watched a bunch of his videos a while back and he said he had a day job in the tech industry. But basically he's said he wanted a tesla without paying $$$ so he bought some salvage vehicles and did it as a hobby.
But with his channel starting to take off he might have transitioned to a youtube career. At this point he's probably funding a lot of it via youtube income.
