Israel is not a democracy. It is a country ruled by religious fanatics, basically. If you are not a Jew, you do not profess Judaism you are denied some of the civil rights, maybe not officially, but practicaly. Think of all the Palestinians there.

If one person thinks you're an asshole they might simply be wrong about you. If everyone in the world thinks you're an asshole then you, almost by definiton, are one.
There's a reason why there's a separate word in most languages for "anti-semitism" but not for "anti-italianism" or "anti-brasilianism".

Test being difficult is not a problem, we want our lawyers to be competent, after all. The more important part is if it is fair. In Poland bar exam had been famous for near impossible questions, which were only answered correctly by applicants that knew them in advance, which typically were family members of already practicing attorneys/judges.

70 floor tower is a bit extreme. What would really benefit places like San Francisco is replacing single family homes with 3-4 stories apartment buildings. Such a low buildings still make neighborhood look nice and cozy, while increasing density 10 times.

Lockdowns simply don't work. How do I know? Because Sweden, which for a long time refused to introduce any COVID restrictions at all, has less deaths per 1M people (1317) than France (1425), which introduced full lockdown.
Also, Texas recently lifted all the restrictions couple weeks ago, and number of cases and deaths is still falling.
I'm sure there are more examples like that.

Variation hypothesis actually makes sense from evolutionary point of view: you need as many women as you can get to produce offsprings, but only small number of men suffices to impregnate them all. So men are disposable, therefore they are where the mother nature does its risky experiments.

What I find interesting on that page is that the more recent (past 2-3 decades) college preparatory tests (e.g. SAT) are not accepted as substitutes to IQ tests. Shows the trend of dumbing down the tests, I guess.

Maybe they mean "mRNA vaccines"? COVID vaccine is the first of this kind, so some side effects, especially long term ones, are still unknown. It's still unlikely that they would be very serious but we won't know for sure until 10 years from now.
