Would love to see the same attitude extended to everyone, e.g. “respect all people”, but I guess if we don’t put the pussy on a pedestal we’re all authoritarians. If you keep pushing that narrative, you will be disappointed in what happens.

Her source of trust was instagram. The cop’s instagram led her to travel to Arizona and be with him. She was convinced by his instagram that she agreed to do all of this. That’s really dumb and it’s what you get playing stupid games with strangers on the internet.

It’s still pretty surprising that a country so armed to the teeth with ground troops and missile defense systems would have let Oct 7 happen for as long as it did, and with so many people dying. I agree that it was wrong of Israel to do that.

I think retirees need to pay the price, finally accept sacrifice, and pull themselves up by their bootstraps. They can earn $500/month easily working at the many places I see hiring for low skill labor. They aren’t contributing economic value otherwise, and it’s more important that we prepare future generations than to lose even more to the one on the way out.

No it isn’t. The advice on nutrition is abundantly clear and has been for a long time: eat food, mostly plants, not too much.
That science has pushed GRAS as “food” is abysmal. Lots of you have just been punked.

> But I do wonder why is it that if you spend any time on parenting websites you find lots of mothers complaining about deadbeat husbands, and so few fathers complaining about deadbeat wives.
My ex wife does this. I take my issues with her to a therapist (instead of online forums). FWIW I have always been more present than her in our child’s life and certainly pay a lot more too. One data point, but it’s in the population you’re referring to.
Some people want sympathy at the expense of their partner’s reputation.

It seems very plausible to me that there is a vested interest in seeding drama and chaos into the reputation of GOS. Why wouldn’t there be? Especially when it seems there’s an easy way to trigger Micay, and there are cottage industries online specializing in exactly this sort of thing.
I get the sense a lot of people care about this project and care about defending it but good luck against the propaganda and bullshit like this that comes along with it.
I really enjoy GOS and used it as a daily driver for ~3 years

I keep seeing people mention NIMBY. Maine is NOT California. For Mainers, Maine IS the backyard. They also have explicit laws saying you can break into someone’s cabin if they aren’t there and your life depends on it, and laws against billboards. They live life differently than you and the parallels are not there.
Most people there seriously don’t give a shit about AI. They care about maintaining the peace, quiet, and purity of their land. Because they enjoy it.
Many of you miss the perspective because you’ve never been there.

By size there should be more. That’s why they feel that way. Maine is significantly more beautiful than Texas. The ugliest part of Maine probably still looks better than most of Texas. I can’t even think of an example of “ugly Maine”.

Raw milk is on the fringes of the same argument that whole foods play a more beneficial role in healthy gut microbiota and digestion, and that our current models focusing on nutrient composition are incomplete. It says that our measurements are off, and that there’s more to nutrition than composition alone. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11901572/
