It was. La Liga isn’t satisfied with the response time of Cloudflare. Cloudflare would not commit to content being taken down during while the match is still going.

La Liga wants to be able to point to a URL hosted by Cloudflare and demand it taken down that instant while the match is still on. It would require dedicated staff at Cloudflare to deal with La Liga stream takedowns.

The number will increase each year for sure. If all people are forced to pay, what’s to prevent them from charging 100€ a year or more?

Gigapress has almost nothing to do with Tesla. It is just the name given by Tesla to a process they purchase from a third party vendor(Idra Group). Tesla was the first to use this product for large scale automotive production though.

A single company controls the patents for eInk displays, so that’s why it hasn’t happened. China could probably pump them out for cheap.

I wonder what will happen when inevitably someone sues one of the AI companies for copyright infringement in a different country, because fair use is to my knowledge an entirely American concept.

Where’s the threshold for forcing AI companies to retrain models without specific copyrighted works in them?

Indeed. All these issues with scam calls from spoofed numbers should lead to BCP38, but for phones. Someone calling shouldn’t be allowed to set their own number in the first place, but we could start by limiting country codes. There’s no reason that a phone should be able to spoof the country of origin. If you want a phone number in France, you can go get a number from a French provider.

Also there has been funding cuts to all agencies where Musk is currently under investigation. NHTSA is getting cut so they can't get in the way of Tesla.

Well, that sounds more like a discussion about if it should be a private company, government run or some kind of coop owned by the customers.

The last one generally benefits the customers.
