I still use it. A few months ago I whipped up a project to monitor my Unraid NAS. Rrdtool is very useful still.

Yes, I can imagine a telephone company terminating a service, if you don't adhere to the term. In fact they are very very strict.

Also, email is still available, don't pretend these services are all there is, it just isn't so.

Absolutely yes. These days if I see an interesting content on my phone, I share to Google Keep. Periodically I look in keep and take another pass at what I saved.

As a father with a 12 year old struggling with math, to say something is extremely easy makes me think you have a better understanding of math than people.

That does sound challenging. APIs and service change too. I can't imagine how complex that can get if something stops working.

Still when you succeed perhaps the next goal is to simply specify what sort of compute function, the scale and risk tolerances, and let the patterns be assembled accordingly.
