The problem is not really if someone is working or not, but that someone is able to demand that someone else works to provide for them.
If you don’t want to work, but you are somehow able to get by without having your existence assured by redistributing the property of someone else, more power to you.

“French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu warned the country "is going through an unprecedented fire season", with 116,085 hectares (286,852 acres) burned and 13,566 fire starts recorded since January.
The minister revealed in a post on X that nine out of 10 fires "are human-caused and most arise from carelessness: a cigarette butt, a barbecue, work carried out without precaution".”
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckg34128nvpo

I tried going that route, but most apps for streaming are Android. And that was only one of the issues.
It was a rabbit hole and in the end I got back using my NVIDIA Shield. This is about 10 years now, but it’s actually still the best option.

They are not catching up to US models. The only Chinese models that attain a modicum of competence are all, sooner or later, are discovered to be trained by exploiting US models (in fact Deepseek itself admitted so about 1 year back).
Chinese models are not innovating anything, they are just doing what China does everywhere else: copying the West… poorly but cheaper.

Why undemocratic? I thought parliamentary elections in UK worked like in most of Europe: you vote for a party, not a candidate.
At least here, it already happened, to have the PM resigning and then someone else from the party to pick up the role and that’s legally sound.

To spare the ones that still didn’t lose all their good sense to have to go through the all article. It ends with trying to put Trump in the same bucket as Pol Pot and Sadam Hussein (this is all so tiresome).
So, it seems clear this film does have a side to pick and will be of dubious accuracy.
“Neel did give some thought to including Donald Trump in his film – even though, “to be clear, he is not a dictator,” he says. “He wants to be one, but he’s not. I did find a chef who cooked for him before he got elected.”
