From my experience the opposite is true. The iOS keyboard feels unintuitive and buggy whilst most alternatives just work.

The US military would be the defending force, though, which would put The People at a disadvantage. Pushing through the defenses of a multi-trillion dollar military with AR-15s seems unlikely. I don't even think that China's armed forces could defeat the US military, let alone civilians armed with AR-15s

All being said, I am no military guru and I could be wrong

When it comes to providing direct links to PDFs of scientific papers, you can often run into paywall issues. Court decisions / rulings on the other hand do not belong to any publishers, so it's a different story

As a fan of Theo, I think that his arguments in the Anthropic video were bad and he seemed very entitled. Instead of owning it during the backlash, he plays victim and literally tells fans who are suspicious to go fuck themselves - not a good look IMO

Many of the top US generals at the time thought that the blockade and imminent Soviet invasion would have been enough to force the Japanese into surrender. The land invasion comparison was propped up as a good "justification" for dropping the bomb, though.

But you do realize that in cabinet meetings after the atomic bombings, the bombings themselves were only scarcely discussed? It is unknown how much impact the atomic bomb had on their decision to surrender, but it is certainly only one of many factors.

Sound monitoring device without any battery - kind of crazy. Reminded me of why I did not switch to a smart watch still - my current Casio battery lasts for 5+ years on a single charge!
