Ask HN: Anyone from Gmail spam department? woes with 550-5.7.1

I'm a bit desperate, so apologies for this. I'm running my own postfix at my own domain, and gmail rejects it with "550-5.7.1 likely unsolicited mail".

I've searched it all, SPF/DKIM/DMARC recommendations from google (all work fine), the postmaster tools (are empty because I'm not sending lots of mail), spamhaus and friends do not have neither me nor my IP neighbours as spammers. (I'm not an open relay either).

There is a submission page at gmail where you would send a mail that is rejected, promising that your setup is good, and they say they would look at it in two weeks time. I've tried that several times and there's neither response nor change in behavior from the gmail side in months.

If there's something I missed, kindly tell, I'll try that; but I'm afraid there's nothing else to try, and if you know someone who knows someone, could there be done something about it possibly?

Second to this. There are a story I read about a very successful diplomat who was so hard on itself that one day he fainted from the stress, because he thought he wasn't good enough. As he found the hard way that this cannot continue, he decided to fake it, if he cannot make it, and que sera. Very surprisingly to him, noone noticed and he was no less successfull afterwards.

Thorium is not much radioactive indeed, but radon it emits is. That's why f.ex. building houses on a granit (that is generally thorium rich) without proper ventilation underneath can result in serious health issues.

That's exactly how I feel when I'm in US. That'd be X dollars. Plus state tax. Cover not included. And 15% tips. Sorry, no change.

How you people can tolerate this, I don't know.

In 1988 I've been standing for quite a long time on my balcony, awing at 5 huge lighting objects dancing in the sky. Never believed in UFOs, but - in front of my own eyes, and in the middle of a big city! Then my mother came and said it must be preparations of light show for tomorrow's concert over the stadium. Oh well...

There is an interesting read about lutein and macular degeneration [1] .. might be quackery, but I've started to include kale in my ration. If it does nothing, well it's not unhealthy. But if it helps though it wouldn't be wise to ignore it.

Just right now happen to help old $work with their 4.11-STABLE FreeBSD station, not touched since 2005 .. amazing technology, love it!. Still working, and while compiling ancient stuff from ports tree, am writing this comment from Konqueror 3.3.2 from 2004 . Thank you FreeBSD people!
