This particular machine has 64GB, but the model is on the RTX 3090 with 24gb. Context is 156k with Pi mono.

The idea that you need a new machine is pretty ridiculous. I bought a used HP Omen with a 3090 last month for $2k. 57t/s with Qwen 3.8.

I’m the author of The Markdown Guide and I built JotBird: the simplest way to publish Markdown to a shareable URL.

Paste or write Markdown, hit publish, get a link. No account required. That’s it.

Think Imgur but for markdown. Instead of dragging an image and getting a URL, you paste markdown and get a noindex web page.

It works from the web app, an Obsidian plugin, a CLI (`jotbird publish README.md`), and an API. Links last 30 days or 90 days with a free account, Pro ($29/year) makes them permanent.

Hey, all! I built JotBird because I kept running into the same problem: I'd write something in Markdown and need to share it with someone who doesn't live in a terminal. Gists look like code. Pastebins look like pastebins. A blog is overkill for meeting notes.

The JotBird CLI turns a Markdown file into a URL with one command: jotbird publish notes.md. Run it again and the same URL updates in place. The output is a properly rendered document with typography, code blocks, and math support.

The CLI is open source and sits on a three-endpoint API (publish, list, delete). Free accounts get 90-day links, Pro ($29/year) makes them permanent.

A small tool that does one thing: publish Markdown and give you a link—no accounts, no setup, no project scaffolding. Paste or write Markdown, click Publish, and you get a human-readable URL you can share immediately. You can update or delete the page later using the same link.

The idea came from frustration with how oddly hard it still is to put a Markdown document on the web without turning it into a repo, a static site, or a login-gated doc. JotBird is editor-light but publishing-first, and I’m now exploring CLI and editor integrations so it can act as a simple publishing layer for tools people already use.

The majority of Americans didn't fly anywhere last year and I'm not sure they would agree with your assessment. This is a case where more democracy — putting region airports on ballots — makes a lot of sense. If the majority of people vote for it, then by all means, subsidize it.
