I have Starlink at my home located in a rural area where the only alternative is DSL at ~1.0MBPS average downlink. Using Starlink made it possible to actually do interactive work from the house without tethering to my spotty LTE service or traveling to a better location. My own experience is that the service has been quite reliable (often 12 hour stretches without an outage), but I do have unobstructed views of the sky. I do find that streaming audio/video can be glitchy and I usually have some kind of audio issues.

Agreed. It's not surprising at all since they don't want to manage a bunch of different contracts. However, I'm of the opinion (and I am a lawyer) that the contracts should then always be especially construed even more strictly than usual against the drafter.

Shipt does the same thing for some stores they deliver from. They claim something like a 15% markup average, but in reality from our own experimentation on items we most frequently purchased, it often hit 35-100% markups and higher. (Actual examples: a $5 watermelon for $12; a dozen store brand eggs $0.99 in the store but $2.99 from Shipt). Add tips and it's rarely worth it for us anymore.

Home Depot and Lowes do this same thing with certain items like dishwashers. It's obnoxious. Their website will show that they have "1 left in stock" but it's the demo model that's installed in a rack of cabinets and not for sale.
