Amish craftsmen confronted with a nail gun and an impact driver. Yeah you can still build a house swinging your arm if you want, but others won't.

Correct. But the llm can also program you the exact automation you want! Much more efficiently than gui madness with N8N. And if you want observability just program that too!

Already very possible and super easy if you do a little vibecoding. Although it will hit the api. Have a stack polling my email every five minutes, classifying email, taking action based on the types. 30 minute coding session.

I don't get it. Last week on the 100 bucks plan I generated probably 50k LOC (not a quality measure for sure!) and just barely kissed the weekly limit. I did get rate limited on some sessions for sure, but that's to be expected.
I'm curious what are people doing that is consuming your limits? I can't imagine filling the $200 a month plan unless I was essentially using Claude code itself as the api to mass process stuff? For basic coding what are people doing?

Correct. And also hiving off areas that they own, vs you own. Who has decision right and controls the burn down of the kanban board? Basically treat yourself like an API that they consume. You build the good stuff that you know is right. They are responsible for making their crap works right. (Understandably there is some obvious tension around the interfaces.)

that's too bad. I'm microdosing tirz -- 1/2 the "starter" dose they use to titrate you on, so essentially 1/4 of the therapeutic dose. Totally helped me reduce appetite driven snacking and eating. I still enjoy food, but now I leave half a beer left on the table. No problem. Makes you wonder what free will is like.
I am in a totally different setup than you though - 225 weight, goal to get down to 180 (my Army weight was 170.) I exercise a lot, and lost 30 pounds through diet two years ago. But it was the hardest thing I've done since Ranger school! So paintful to not eat enough. Gained it all back. I'm in month one of tirz and it is as easy as pie.

But if you are not saving "privileged" information who cares? I mean think of all the WordPress sites out there. Surely vibecoding is not SO much worse than some plugin monstrosity.... At the end of the day if you are not saving user info, or special sauce for your company, it's no issue. And I bet a huge portion of apps fall into this category...

100% correct. Wonderful and we will still use it for most use cases. But for stuff where it is just not needed or should be automated, we can now make some amazing tools. (Just like the VBA coders of old.)

But this nightmare is ALREADY true, except that software is a spreadsheet. Or a piece of paper on someone's desk. Or an email that someone is supposed to send every day.... Yes it's an absolute nightmare to maintain if you built a fortune 500 off of it. But for a 100 person company that is 95% blue collar workers, this is fine. And better.
