It is still independent in sense that it doesn't depend on Google Search money and Chrome/Firefox code as most of the alternative browsers. Depending on your definition of dependency, it will always going to be dependent on something.

Also they are not changing the licence or preventing forks.

It is a pragmatic solution to a real problem that can really clog down progress on the project. I hope they (and other open source projects) will figure out how to filter in good, responsible contributors but I guess it will take time.

Enpass: https://www.enpass.io/ Started using it because of one time payment and Dropbox sync. They switch to subscription model but I still find it quite usable.

That means energy efficiency rating will change by date, A rated product of last year could be different (could be better or worse) by this year's A rated product. Can't we just use "numbers" instead?

I don't use Sublime Text as an IDE (I have Intellij for that), mainly to edit scripts, large CSV files, as a scratchpad etc. but It's always open and increases my productivity a lot.

Take a look at Enpass (https://www.enpass.io) it has a free desktop app and one off fee for mobile apps. I've been using it for tree or four months and it's been great.

AFAIK it doesn't on address bar but of course it does on search bar for suggestions. That's why they were keeping the two separate.
