One thing that bothers me is the seeming lack of transparency about who is running GrapheneOS. Daniel Micay supposedly stepped down, so who is calling the shots now? Who runs the CI? Who owns the update servers and signing keys? Who am I trusting?

I had a pretty similar setup with sway too, idle power usage was pretty bad, but no external display became a deal breaker at some point.

The main reason for me is simple keyboard navigation. I don't want to click through links and menus, I don't want to use the mouse at all. I think that's also why tiling window managers are popular again.

I recently drove a Mazda with a knob in the center console that controlled the Android Auto display. It was surprisingly usable!

In 2022 I scraped the current prices for things I bought on amazon the year before, and got a 7% increase.

Unfortunately amazon stopped providing order reports recently...

25x80 is ok. i'm getting 37x62 in portrait, 6x128 in landscape, both with the keyboard open. typing symbols is the main handicap imo, overall unusable.

seems pretty favorable, keep in mind that it's already two years old. it's also a brick at 280g, almost double a pixel 5, otherwise pretty similar

Why don't they offer a rounded corner bezel to match?

In general, I'm disappointed by the lack of real customization. There are a few color/aesthetic options, but would love to see things like trackpoints, three button trackpads, bezels without cameras, and other things that would actually change usage.

Connecting to wifi and enableing the hotspot at the same time works on my phone (pixel 5), it probably just uses different bands. It's pretty useful to avoid typing passwords twice.
