no, these technologies can not be combined

molten salt works where there is very reliable sunshine in a hot climate, and is heated from huge assemblies of mirrors focusing on a single tower mounted heat exchanger, and is very high tech,runns very hot indeed,with many pumps and exotic materials, to run a conventional steam turbine.

heating sand for heat storage is much simpler, useing off the shelf electrical equipment, and materials to convert excess electricity to store heat at temperatures similar to what can be produced by domestic apliences, that is then used very localy for space and possibly water heating.

one is farm tech, the other is nasa grade.

the oceans can adsorb a great deal more heat, but all the ice will melt, while the deap ocean water expands, from it's rather odd temperature ,that keeps it at the highest density possible, about .5% more than if it were just a bit warmer, so more warming will cause very significsnt sea level rise through several different mechanisms related to heat.

The NK Emperor's dady, got the bomb, and the delivery system through what must be the darkest, wierdest, nastyest story that will never be told, but only long after the US got the bomb useing manual refining, machineing and assembly methods, which we do have the heavily spun and edited, but still weird and nasty story of. My point bieng that these days, any number of high tech countrys could almost accidentaly start producing nuklear weapons, should the right hand loose track of what the left hand is doing, germany, japan, SK, Poland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Indonesia, could all figure it out, and under enough pressure some perhaps could produce a weapon in weeks. The comming advancements in metal refining methods will almost certainly lower the bar for gaining fisionable nuklear material, and there will then need to be a reconing on going on as we are, building the motives to aquire these weapons.

the problem is that humans are modifying the environment, orders of magnitude faster than evolution can keep up with, and many of the "features" of our modern technological cities are prouncedly geared towards our worst/best (non) survival instincts, as from an evolutionary perspective we are all living in the valley of infinite plentitude, and survival of the fittest has taken on an entirely other definition.

I make money by bieng "exploited" by AI, but have never interacted with so much as a chatbot or ever been on big tech social media platform, perhaps? the website I rent, has been found and incorporated into the recomendations routines somehow, but how that works exactly is beyond me, but somedays my phone blows up with a relenless barrage of inquiries into all things metal from people, and so I am useing this oportunity to explore how much my services are worth

advertising IS illegal in my little corner of the world, I have never allowed advertising in my house, no tv, no radio, tinkered with browsers that block everything but HTML by default, and a whole layered process to access anything more elaborite. no subscriptions, have even gone to useing cash for most personal purchases. I do have several web sites, and all of my work comes through those, but all of that is from deliberate searches made by people looking for my services, and there is no promotions on other platforms. Works for me!

at some point soon, China will be incentivising it's (geographical) wester neihbors to buy there morning power from china, and sell there afternoon excess back via the ultra high voltage transmissionlines they are building out now. personaly I have been off grid for years and am planning out an upgrade that will include car charging alongside the current house and business power generation. it's crazy but I can buy one of the largest most efficient solar panels for less than the cost to fill my trucks tank with fuel once.

simple, the trillions of dollars bieng spent at some ridiculous rate of whatever number of milliins per hour is bubbling the whole worlds economy that and while indivual productivity isn't great, the ever increasing scale of industrial production of everything is reducing real unit costs and providing more profit froth to the foam based economy and lastly is the simple fact that AI does not actualy do anything except burn money and the vast majority of what AI gets credited for still needs human support and monitoring and the real situation is one of REDUCED efficiency , the rest is just a shell game needing people to do the shuffling, speaking of which!, hey! time to write a quote!

wtf? anybody ever heard of an sd card? usb drive? not that I personaly care, as my devices remain password free, unencripted, and here take the fucking thing, keep it, as I figure that worse comes to worse there is a way to bootstrap from nothing. then there is the little detail of my phone forcing a "security update", AND forcing a restart, which is absolute proof that I am not liable for anything on any device under any circumstances ever. The simple reality is that basic rights and freedoms of citizenship and the laws to protect that are gone, and we are all bieng treated as chattle by default with performative actions bieng taken in only the most extream and public cases of overt and wonton abuse.

everything by hand is good for the brain! writing of course, but inducting a younger person working the till, into the dance of correct change, or an aproximation that leaves them with a float, and/or not getting a pocket full of coin, and watching the light go on as they activly get into the game of useing simple math in a practicle way for the first time, big grins all round, or some few mildly enraged and uncertain as to what just happened, this bieng a common experience as I use cash for most of my personal expendature, which more recently is getting comments from other customers and employees, but I like it, pay and be done. I also dabble in scrap and precious metals, back woods deals for a wide variety of primary building materials, supplys, feed, manufacturing equipment,etc, which is all done with cash, live, right now, on your feet, make a deal, be good with it, done and on to other things.

PV had to prove that it was truely indispensable and also prove to have realistic prospects for improvement and volume production before investments were made, and then prices came down. AI has proven that it burns more money faster than anything else, ever. I will admit that I am an early adopter of solar, but an AI refusenic, but still there is no reasonable comparison of AI and anything outside of religion.

The (any!) comparrison to photovoltaics is not acurate.Photovoltaics (PV) are primary energy producing infrastructure that produces its own fuel and is now verticly integrated into it's own supply chain, nothing other than life itself posseses this atribute. AI, is exceptionaly likely to work in exactly the opposite fashion and take its host out as it goes down.

the only thing unacounted for is deap ocean warming and the subsiquent exansion of the oceans ie: sea leval rise not connected to ice melting, though that is and will accelerate. the problem with accounting for all the effects of global warming is that the effects are tiny per unit volume, but the number of units is surreal, so the "math" is closer to conjecture than engineering the observables on the other hand are all pointing to very significant underestimations. This year will break all records for global warming metrics, and there are some very strange things happening to the SST charts, in any case it does look like we will be learning more about tipping points or if the system responds in a linear fashion and it makes forcasting possible

Orville Wright could have explained the reduced drag asociated with a higher aspect wing in 1902, perhaps useing his own terminology as airodynamics as a concept was still stuck in he and his brothers heads for the most part, but was very well known by 1910 and on up. Airbus should probably stick to structural engineering refinement, which they are rather good at, and not try and sell themselves as inovators, which they are not.
