Helium is something that industry has become accustomed to wasting, flagrantly and dismissivly as a "byproduct", by industry that of course means the military and governments exercising there "discretion" in the service of money. And it is the custom of bieng dissmissive that may (likely) be behind the many magnificent piles of rubble that litter the ancient world. A short dip into how the soviets went about capturing certain other nobel gases is educational, when "hard" means something entirely else.

All large land and sea animals are now in danger, except perhaps those that are in some sense semi domesticated, deer, coyotes, raccoons, etc, but the wild ones are dying out due to human competition for resources or there very bodys.

I never know what I am going to say or write, but writing is convienient by way of bieng deleetable. I do like words, and sounds, a lot, and am interested in non verbal comunication, especialy in other species, which requires a huge suspension of judgement concerning what constitutes meaning, and how much of it we radiate, cluelessly this last, is the part that the poetry of shared experience can conviegh by way of the written word, sometimes, and for those in the frame of mind to see around the corner and into there own inner world.

That made me laugh. I have never used AI, dont care if it works, and am (negativly) indiferent to it. Long ago I set benchmarks for algorithms that would indicate that they were sophisticated enough for general drudge work, for which they remain utterly inadequate. That they can fulfill formulaic tasks is hardly surprising, though the compute required does seem to be a lot.

militarily this is called a disorganized retreat.while not a full rout, it definitly points to a lack of planning, but with a general excess of capacity in certain area's, like air lift, the whole thing bieng run like a classic mob operation where the boss is literaly standing up saying "tell me what I want to hear!"

transformers are infrastructure, 100% duty cycle with a significant overload capacity that can be 3 times name plate, right there with dams and bridges, and if one developes a fault, realy bad things happen and you get a crater. There very nature makes them imensely heavy and very compact, all of the equipment used to form the parts is gargantuan, and materials to build them come in units that must be moved by house sized forklifts, consider changing a tire on such a forklift. Remember that the largest transformers travel on the heaviest rail cars, specials, these things are way heavier than anything else per ft³. Which gets us to cold,warm, or hot idle, or decomisioning, which are your choices when a huge factory has no work, hot idle means limited production, warm means some of the guys hang out and tinker with stuff, cold means, locked up,no employees but security, as decomisioning something like this has strategic considerations, or should.
