"privileged take"?, sorry I am not from the US, so I don't compete in the sorry-o-lympics.

Nothing is stopping you from using it for free at home, everyone is privileged in that regard.

And it was obvious to everyone else, I was talking about decisions you can take yourself. I'll try better in the future to be hyper explicit about this, so people who are looking for a reason to feel hurt will have a harder time.

My goodness, this has nothing to do with AI problems.

I don't understand that people still buy an OS from a company that actively hates it's customers.

The amount of things they pull should not even be succesful on a OS you get paid FOR to use.

There is nothing wrong with using AI.

What I don't like is to see claims like "no AI slop"

And yet it's riddled with emdashes and language "by hand"

Seeing the skills of the writer, he definitely should be able to, but then I don't understand the claim.

Very interesting, but slight note on the fact that writer sort of forgets to calculate in the price of the 4080 it works together with.

He spend 200 to upgrade his existing setup, great nonetheless. But not "32gb gram for only 200 bucks"

It doesn't matter which rules and policies you have in place, if teachers are afraid of some parents, or simply tired of some, they will neglect or look away from your child being abused.

Which is a direct result of parents influence on the schools.

What horrible advice also to download different tar versions, for something that should just be explained properly.

When kubernetes got introduced, we didnt want to interact with only webpages/fronts.

So we created tooling we know on the CLI.

Every person here that thinks its AI that caused the resurgence of CLI tools is a vibe coder who just entered the scene this year.
