I got into churning airline miles then manufactured spending (generating spend on credit card to earn miles) and now have over 10 million miles. I also heard one of the biggest groups of manufactured spend are developers within Google.
I belong to a private slack with over 80 folks doing this as a hobby so we can do first class/business class international travel and hotel stays for free.
If anyone is into it as as well and would like to join a private Slack and contribute, hit me up. A big majority of the group are engineers.
NOTE: this group is for advanced folks only who have been doing this for a while. Think "r/churning level 2"

This series of tweets from Anil Dash might give some insight into why Marco decided to pull Peace. Basically while the big publishers of content can adapt to ads being blocked and create native ads or sell "featured content", small publishers like blogs dont have the time to work on that and rely on third-party ad tech like Google AdSense for monetization.
Worth a read: https://twitter.com/anildash/status/644560336369119232
> @anildash Okay, ad blocking advocates and users (I am one, sometimes!), we're going to have a new conversation. You ready?

> I resisted the temptation to use the exploit to send myself a million dollars worth of free Amazon gift cards
Sorry, but that's not how Amazon's "Buy It Now" option works. It sends the item to the default address on file. So it would not be possible for the clickjacker to get it mailed to their own address.
