Humans have the advantange of millions of year of training baked in their genes. There is nothing magical about being a human. Once algorithms have ability to collect data from real world(robotics), ability to do experiments in real world and ability to mimic nature all these advantages will fall away.

The rate of change is accelerating. I worry we don't have much time left unless we get serious about merging with machines.

Its is corporate fiefdom. Everybody trying to one up other executives to show impact instead of working together towards a unified goal. The bigger the company the more we see this phenomena. Nobody gets promotion if you just used existing internal service.

If I am not mistaken this chip was build specifically for the llama 8b model. Nvidia chips are general purpose.

Inference is crazy fast! I can see lot of potential for this kind of chip for IOT devices and Robotics.

Most probably all VCs will go out of business as the cost of creating software companies approaches zero. The need to create an army of software developers is no longer needed.

I don’t think it is about resources. Growing up in 3rd world country I have zero resources. It is the drive of student and higher standards from parents and teachers that matters. Everybody is just getting soft.

Somebody should create a AI interviewer for VC funding. VCs are swamped with so many funding requests. All the founders should first convince AI why they need funding.

I think it will be really sneaky. You ask for information and LLM will say " does what you want and it is also cheaper with these additional features."

I would argue that Google is even better place for advertising. All they need to do is enable advertising in Gemini. There is a whole ecosystem already in place for Google advertising.

Yeah its like a team where the task is switched between developers. In the end everybody provides different point of view to the problem and the whole team learns about the codebase.

AI coding agents (e.g. Cursor) should offer this as an alternative to Claude Code. Alloyed agents is something that AI wrappers can offer as a counter to Codex/Claude Code/Google Agent.
