I can point to EU-scale platforms that have reliably served over 100 million users for more than a decade without significant issues. The bottleneck is rarely the language itself, it is the depth of the team’s experience.

Haven't reinstalled it in 8 years. Everything runs smoothly.

I have both 4090 (workstation) and 7900XT (to play some games) and I would say that 7900XT was rock solid for me for the last year (I purchased it in Dec 2023).

We are just doomed.

1. You have a choice. With MS you don't. You can't opt-out, at least for now.

2. And as prev buddy said, you never know what MS will do with your data.

3. Recall will be heavily targeted and from day-1 some malware will target it. Random dude's pet project doesn't (even though it is a security through obscurity).

This is a sect and global trend to reinvent and re-implement the wheel with the Rust :D

Raw power that we have now in our PCs and laptops are enormous and some better high DPI handling cannot justify why everything nowadays is so sluggish an laggy.

I was able to enable context restore and cold boot happens in 13-16 seconds straight to the desktop.
