Bro is 81. Computers have been ubiquitous for at least 20 years now. hes had plenty of time to learn how to use one. I get the feeling hes the kind of guy that just retired instead of having to learn how to use the new fangled thing they sat in front of him.

It would be fun to use this to build something like the old capdiv firewire hdd recorder I have. then you can just capture direct to disk and not worry about the 1:1 transfer time later.

Right? when I graduated HS in 2008 phones had always been banned. If you got caught with one out, you could have them just not out and in theory off, you would get detention and your parent would have to come get it. When did it suddenly become OK to have phones out.

the thing that makes them unreliable is lack of use. when you leave some gas in there for 6 months because you never travel farther than the grocery store, when you actually use the engine it goes and sucks up a bunch of trash expired gas.
