The parent comment had few valid points. As a fellow EU citizen, from Finland, I'm quite sadden how badly the Germans have handled the post-Ukrainian invasion, from energy perspective and from leadership point-of-view. The latter will have long lasting effect on the whole of EU.

> 2. Accurate estimation of development times is impossible (not difficult, actually theoretically impossible). All estimates of development times are wrong, some by more than an order of magnitude.
Personally now-a-days I care more about velocity. If the team can deliver the smallest value added to the system within a week, we are good. The more constant velocity the team has, the more Management trusts you to produce value and get their things done without the need to have massive estimation parties that almost always end up being wrong.
The sad thing is, once the velocity gets bogged up or waving (Org change, contantly changing directions,..) the estimation parties are here to stay and it's quite hard to get back to where the team was.

I've seen Seinfeld so many times that now a days I just tap on the "random" option in VLC when watching it. X-files I've divided to two, MonsterOfTheWeek and "moves plot forward". Then randomly pick from the two buckets.
Don't think there is any "new" series that I've watched over twice, I wonder why that is.

> My next device will probably be a Pine Phone.
As a long time iPhone user I'm on the same boat. I do hope there will be a somewhat beta level Pine Phone soon. I'm already thinking should I get my old Nokia n900 from the storage box and start using that. Not comfortable with Androids and the latest Apple actions are making me feel a bit unsure on the direction they are taking.
