Whilst I am sure every React website you create downloads in the blink of an eye and is 100% accessible, sadly the same cannot be said of your peers.

It's easy to do the right thing if you use the right tools, as they were designed to be used.

It's incredibly difficult to do the right thing if you insist on using the one hammer in your toolbox.

I have no idea if that's accurate, but let's assume for a moment that it is.

- Vue supports JSX, but it is not the default.

- Angular does not support JSX.

- Svelte, which you neglected to mention, does not support JSX.

- Solid does indeed use JSX, as of course does React.

So two out of the five main SPA frameworks don't even support JSX, and another doesn't typically use it.

As I said, you may have stabilised on JSX, "we" have not.

I have no idea what this means. The World Wide Web itself is quite literally hypermedia.

The fact that a lot of front-end frameworks appear hell bent on ignoring this fact doesn't make it any less true.

You may have stabilised on JSX, "we" have not. React is one way of building web applications. It's appropriate for a certain subset of highly interactive SPAs, and completely inappropriate for many other things.

I'm sure this will be a terribly unpopular opinion, but I've long held the view that a Chinese AI company might screw me over at some point for a complex geopolitical reason that I don't fully understand. An American AI company will screw me over tomorrow for a quick buck.

As to the argument is that (only?) the Chinese labs are training on my data, I find this almost comical given the amount of highly-personal data companies such as Meta and Google have been harvesting for decades.
