The more reliable way of using Stremio is through real-debrid anyway - meaning the torrents are cached on a server for direct streaming.

Migrated to Pop OS and one of the first suggestions for a DB manager in the Pop Shop was Beekeeper. I tested it out since I'd only used DBeaver before. Upon finding out it didn't save my connection by default, I instantly went back to DBeaver.

Also it could have been a friend or family member finding it first. I use browser based adblockers on all my devices. My partner doesn't always. Luckily I have Pi-hole setup to at least block these links on my home network.

I came across a meme which made reference to a longitude and latitude. Being curious, I entered it on Google Maps and it took me to a building in the Czech Republic. Nothing was immediately apparent so I switched to the satellite view. My juvenile sense of humour was satiated and I immediately decided to forward the coordinates to a couple of friends with equally juvenile taste.
I got one reply back asking me what the significance of a blank building was? First I thought they had totally missed the joke but it occurred to me that this image was rather hard to miss.
I fiddled around for a bit and tried on my different Gmail accounts and I was able to replicate different satellite images being displayed. One set of images clearly new and crisp, whilst the other rather blurred and dark.
Now I warn you, this a bit NSFW but the comparison is below.
https://imgur.com/a/v9yLpZb
So my question is: does anyone know what factors go into displaying different results to different accounts?
My first thought would be some form of timed rollout of new imagery to prevent any glitches and naughties reaching the masses. But that clearly slipped through the cracks.

Came into this thread looking for anything to make my Kobo more tolerable. Gladly going to give this a go. I had an original Kindle and it felt just seamless at the time. I broke the screen and had to migrate to a Kobo Touch. It does the job but it's not nearly as responsive and the battery life is abhorrent.

I've always been a fan of espionage related stories but I was born sometime after the fall of the Berlin wall, so anything Cold War just seems like a tale from a time long ago. Does anyone have recommendations of books dealing with espionage in the contemporary age? Bonus if it's cyberespionage related.
