Same here and on my laptops I don't need the extra finger touch. It just works.
I have had a work MPB for years and while the touchpad is nice I just use the other touchpads with no problems.
Then again as I like bigger displays I use an external keyboard and mouse when not traveling.

Funny enough I recently came across this video [1] about ultra-processed foods maybe being labeled "predigested". It sort of got me thinking but makes an interesting point that if you take a basic ingredient like a potato and break it down into a starch slurry it does sound like it has been pre-digested.
1- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zz2WR6tVg5E&t=308s

I wish that was so straight forward. You can google this incident where an empty lot got a 35K water bill and the water company said it was an error, then backtracked on that and still saying 35K is due.
> Towards the end of 2023, the DWM seemingly corrected the issue. Revive received an email stating: “The prior balance on the account reflected water leakage that was the result of Department of Watershed actions. Once the leak was addressed and the account properly adjusted, the corrected balance for the property is $219.24.” However, DWM soon backtracked and claimed that the $219.24 quote was made in error and that the nearly $30,000 balance still applied.
https://lawblog.legalmatch.com/2024/02/26/empty-atlanta-lot-...

The only thing I can think of is the high voltage. I don't mind working with 220v but anything higher I tend to shy away with. I think some of the voltage systems in the battery packs can peak at 800v with most of them between 400v and 600v.

100% agree with this. IMO there are a few efforts to modernize PLC programming but I feel like they are still stuck in the 1990s software development. Take a look at Codesys, got Git support few years ago and in very bad shape. How do you test your code, in the field or buy another Codesys testing plugin....which is in rough shape.
The issue is as machines get way more complex this issue gets worse. Also there are generations of PLC devs that still want to stick with ladder logic. Huge fragmentation.

I was thinking the same thing. Either you go Amazon or you don't get it for some book. It is pretty dismal experience to be honest. Of course there are "other places" you can find them and not deal with any of the hassle. Search and download an ebook in about a minute.
