Agentic Coding has been a huge strain on CI, I have been using Bazel to improve our build times and ultimately building customized runners to improve our CI

Man what a week, We just had GLM 5.3 that came out and then we had smaller local model Qwen3.8-27B from Qwen

Just tried using Pi Agent and looks very promising

Pi Agent has been one of my favorite harness when it comes to using with local models

I had a lot of success running it on my Mac with Qwen3.6-35B-A3B model

Hello HN,

I built Minute because I wanted searchable meeting notes without sending recordings or transcripts to a cloud service. It captures microphone and optional system audio, transcribes locally with Whisper, and generates summaries, decisions, and action items using a local LLM through llama.cpp. After the initial model download, everything runs on-device and in-process. There’s no account, server, or telemetry. The app is built with Tauri, Rust, React, and Metal acceleration. Notes are stored locally as plain text, JSON, and WAV files.

I built the project end-to-end with Codex as a design and engineering partner—including the UX, accessibility work, reliability tests, CI, and Apple Silicon/Intel release automation.

I guess software engineering isn’t ending. The leverage is getting ridiculous.

Agreed and most people tend to go towards ECS is because they don’t have enough resources to manage EKS or Kuberenetes in general

Now Kuberenetes is really powerful in my opinion but sometimes it might be an overkill

You might even get away with EC2s but they bring extra overhead of management such as patches and os upgrades and autoscaling can be trivial

This is a great idea, but going against FIX protocol would be huge challenge as it's an industry standard and there's alot of regulation in financial industry
