<p>It could be a new type of scram jet, right?  A normal jet engine has to slow down supersonic air to subsonic to combust it which is inefficient.</p>

<p>Besides that you actually want your unit to struggle a little in order to have enough run time to control humidity.<p>It’s actually a problem if you have an overpowered system.</p>

<p>I found tower fans are a game changer. They are fairly quiet and move a lot of air.<p>I prefer them to ceiling fans plus no installation and you can keep them when you move.</p>

<p>GOOD Point by my wife! Why can’t we have a blower on a belt to accomplish most of the sorting?  Plastics blow one way and glass stays on the belt. Throw in a magnet and make eddy currents to trap metals.</p>

<p>How about any company that’s worried about it’s code being copied submits a copy for copilot to check against. If copilot generates any of that code it just doesn’t output it.</p>

<p>How smart is SQLite at detecting column types from Csv data?<p>I once wrote a Python script to load csv files into SQLite. It had a whole hierarchy of rules to determine the data type of each column.</p>

<p>You’d think there would be a plausible hormesis explanation for the benefits of moderate alcohol intake.<p>Lots of systems in the body work this way. Eg we grow our muscles by literally damaging them and having them grow back stronger.</p>

<p>IMO it’s not a good idea. I feel like I hurt my reading comprehension and enjoyment by learning speed reading techniques.<p>Now the temptation is always there to speed up on a few paragraphs and it’s hard not to.</p>
