Back from my old overclocking days - its heat that kills life. And if you keep that under control (what ages is the heatpaste, replace it ever so often) i very much doubt you'll have any life issues from the cpu itself.
Bearings in fans, caps etc. are also stuff that you need to keep an eye on.
I just replaced a i5-660 thats been powered on since 2010 24/7, heatpaste was fucked so it crashed during heavy loads :)

Ah okay 150w is not _that_ bad - more than a rpi for sure but still :)
And another cpu+chipset is always going to eat som Watts just by existing.

I've recently upgraded my ageing X8SIL Supermicro with an i5 to a X10 Sm board with a 2960 V4 14core Xeon... I was expecting a horrible power situation but it's less than 100w with a handful of spinning disks etc.
I see lots of people complaining on power with their re-used ProLiant and others etc. Is it the throttling or bios settings that messes with the idle power?
Or are you just running it at 100% and my low usage is what saves my electricity bill?

You are aware of our different price-markets in sweden right? SE4 is priced at the export prices for Danish wind and German goal - which sucks for Swedes in SE4 (and to some extent SE3). SE4 can eat their own dogfood since they cut the Nuclear Power and are now burning oil instead (Karlshamnsverket).

As a Swede i'd like to cut the cord to Denmark/Germany. That would greatly reduce our electricity costs in south/mid Sweden.
Let them enjoy their "cheap" wind and battery solution.

Poorly dried wood?
We just installed a second woodburningstove in our house, https://www.contura.eu/en-gb .. and i mean you can mess up your fire by burning wet wood etc. or... paper i dunno.
But dried wood burns really clean, absolutely no smell INSIDE the house (wtf?!) and outside you see a thin whisp of smoke from the chimney.

UK houses are really interesting.. Single-glass windows, poor insulation etc. And plumbing on the OUTSIDE(!) :)
Are the boilers typically connected to water-radiators?.. I assume so based on the word "boiler".
There are heatpumps that are used to heat water so it would be a slot in replacement..

You should probably figure out why - unless you are ok with nobody liking you.
If _everyone_ finds you annoying or difficult being around, you most like are annoying and difficult to deal with.
How you go about figuring what bugs people is perhaps the hard part.
