It has a native macOS companion app that instantly finds your TVs with Kino installed on your network, pairs securely and lets you upload to the TV or download the videos back into your mac and stream the files from the TV into your mac. If you don't have a mac it does offer a WebUI.

The TV app can play the videos, supports subtitles(both embedded into the video container and as separate files like .srt) and remembers the last playback location of the videos so you can continue watch them later from where you left.

The app(both the TV app and the macOS companion app) doesn't collect any data(beyond what Apple or Google may collect in their systems), its completely private.

I made this app for myself and then decided to publish it and see what happens, so feedback is greatly appreciated. I had access to just one TV, so I'm sure you will be able to find bugs, apologies.

You can download and use it for free but it has 10 video limit and asks you for a one time purchase to remove the limit but I find that the free limit is good enough for most casual use.

Oh almost forgot, the API of the TV app is completely open and documented and can be viewed on http://TVIPADDRESS:PORT (the Web UI url sans-/web). It can be used to do things like automatically moving the downloaded to the TV storage etc.

so 20x difference between the most expensive IPTV and the cheapest legal option. You can go with the 20 EUR IPTV vs the 200 EUR legal option and it would be 120x difference but probably the quality would be the same so let’s stick with the 20x.

Spaniards attitudes can be quite different from the American ones, Americans just pay for everything for convenience, in Spain you probably need to match the price of the IPTV to steal their customers.

Apparently IPTV costs 20 to 60 Euros per year, the legal option is over 100 euros per month.

To match the IPTV they need 20x price reduction. This would mean that they need sign in 20x more Spaniards to break even with the current situation. Are there 20x more Spaniards pirating the LaLiga than paying? Even in Spain I don’t think so.

Even when they loose an election they tend to have loyalists embedded deep in the institutions and take power back through sabotage and legal battles. For example, they set the governing process in such a way that it's practically impossible to effectively govern by following the rules, when they loose an election the new people are having very hard time, services start to suffer. For example locked communication devices are huge national security risk, so Apple will have their money frozen and given two options:

EU developers may choose to use Apple App Store services and pay the Apple's fees or they may choose to bypass it. Apple may chose to make Xcode a paid software, developers may choose not to purchase Xcode and use other non-Apple tools and pay nothing to Apple.

2) Use credit against the frozen money to refund your users if they bring their devices to you. All the Apple devices will be locked out from EU mobile providers(technically very easy for iPhone, simply by blocking devices with Apple IMEI on EU networks) and any remaining devices of the users will be refunded with the Apple's money. After some grace period, any money remaining in Apple's account will be transferred to Apple and if Apple wants to do business in EU again will have to do the option 1.

I'm bit on the doomer side of things, so I think that if Trump keeps his current course and power, at the end of the term American software industry will shrink by %90 as it will be expelled from most of the world and will be serving to 350M people instead of 8B people. Its amazing how US is screwing up its dominant position in this incredibly lucrative industry that lets them serve a market of 8B people and accumulate huge wealth in the process.
