This is so pretty! Curving the triangle to a cone with seconds as base to make them run smoothly in a circle would be a nice option.

Ian's knot saved me some time in the past decade or so.
Is there a knot with two settings for tying and releasing? Releasing it to a point that allows taking off the shoe and pulling somewhere else to fix it firmly again?
It must be adjustable because laces get longer over time.

"You are absolutely right" is one of the main catchphrases in "The Unbelievable Truth" with David Mitchell.
Maybe it is a UK thing?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unbelievable_Truth_(radio_...
I love that BBC radio (today: BBC audio) series. It started before the inflation of 'alternative facts' and it is worth (and very funny and entertaining) to follow, how this show developed in the past 19 years.

It is one of the funniest book I ever read.
Thomas Mann has the most subtle humour.

I am a German native speaker fluent in English and living in Spain for a few years with not much opportunity of learning the language.
I just finished A2 in community college. Many of my classmates were native English speakers or Russians.
Most of them are elderly and Spanish is their first foreign language.
My Spanish is not good enough yet to judge pronunciation, but my impression is, that the russian accent is much more pronounced when beginners speak German or English than in Spanish.
The older Brits and Irish that learned no other foreign language before have a very hard time even realising their English accent.

I was in contact with a Sr. Customer Support Specialist from Yubico and I was not impressed by their denial of a problem.
The reason to get such a Hardware Token is, that the private key cannot be extracted, even if the users lose it.
They have plausible deniability for fraud with the broken devices.
Claiming that this would not be a problem and trying to explain why it is not a problem without considering their client could be right, is pure arrogance.
Only a complete exchange of the whole management of yubico could save them, when they want to be taken seriously ever again.
And of course the new management should immediately offer a cost free exchange program.
D'oh.

Thank you so much!
My client was in the final stage of selecting security tokens.
They have contracts with administration and their tokens need to be secure.
I was strongly for yubikeys, now they will not be an option any longer.
It is not so much about the flaw, but about their handling of the broken security tokens, still claiming them to be somehow secure-ish.
Even if they offered us the new tokens, that wouldn't make a difference. Their claim to making the internet more secure for all, contradicts their attitude.
That is really disappointing.
