I'm a fan of open bodybuilding, so I've been following the Ozempic usage trend for a while now. Given the findings on this study, I can see how it may become an essential drug on bodybuilders stacks.
Hunger reduction + supraphysiological muscle gain from steroids and growth hormone - (heart) muscle reduction = win/win?
Heart problems are one (of many) of the main problems these guys face, so I won't be surprised if Ozempic is used to kind of "balance" the effects of other drugs.

I was thinking the exact same, obviously a very smart guy but damn I don't really agree/align with most of what he expressed.

I wish I could switch to Telegram, sadly most people I know use it as a "secondary" chat app for random/funny groups rather than their main app. What's even sadder is that I think most of us can agree that most people really don't care about privacy issues when it comes to apps, most "regular" people just want to use them for the sake of it. It's just people really focused on their privacy or "techies" the ones that have a concern about it.

Not only Europe and UK, LATAM is also pretty much governed by WA. I remember one time I had a visit of some folks from Canada, they were very surprised that we used it as our main chat/communication app. When I asked why, they said "we don't hear from it (referring to WA) that much, we all just use iMessage" I guess in their context/community most people own iPhones.

Hey there Peter, my dad got to submit petitions for both my grandma and me for U.S permanent residency just before the pandemic blew up. How long does that usually take? and Do you think it will take even longer because of the pandemic? I'm 28 and my grandma is 85, we both live in El Salvador if that makes any difference/is of any relevancy.
Thanks!

Wow... I used to watch a youtuber clean his tools with a bottle labeled as "Isopropyl Alcohol, AKA IPA" I always thought he was making fun of IPAs as in the beer style. I feel so dumb hahaha x_x

I've never used Ubuntu studio but this caught my attention, and to be honest it makes a whole lot of sense to me. I understand though that it's really bad news for XFCE users.

Not sure if generalizing something like this based on a survey from "over 500 Americans" is correct, but anyway. I believe that most millennials will definitely feel more comfortable working from home permanently (I'm one of those) however there are a lot of other factors to take into account, as mentioned in other comments it can depend if you're more introvert rather than extrovert, do you have the appropriate workspace, tools?, commute time. It can be incredibly tough if not stressing to be working on a rather small place without a desk, a proper computer/laptop, kids/toddlers hanging around you, random noise coming from outside, etc. I think the point is clear. IMHO it really depends on the resources and environment that each individual is able to have.

I think this is probably what most of us have to deal with. IMHO I think trying to see everything as a challenge is one of the keys. For no particular reason here is my story: I was sick of programming at some point in my career, the way I found it exciting/fun again was to learn a new paradigm, most of my career I had only worked with OOP (java/php) I decided to move on to another company and I was lucky? I guess, to learn to program in a functional language which was totally new for me, this experience sort of `opened my eyes` and gave that satisfaction/excitement for programming again and I believe that part of that was due to the fact that I pretty much had to learn to program again coming from OOP to FP. I guess sometimes change is the key.
