Useful to consider how many accounts that are not high profile were deleted and if these high profile accounts were a casualty ofa much more aggressive attempt to silence a segment of voices then then next question is, what is the criteria being used?

the cool thing is that written Arabic, for the most part, does not suffer from that. A speaker can pick up a book written in the 11th century and find that the grammar, words, structure are all consistent and understandable.

R&D is an investment not a loss. It might be the case Meta is wasting money and isn't finding a viable path to a product, but that is yet to be determined.

do we see headlines describing how much Alphabet has "lost" on Waymo? or how much Toyota has "lost" on EV development?

why fall for that framing here?

and still growing. it is isn't unreasonable for that growth to be slower than less penetrated regions.

this guy might want to include data about facebook user number, dau / mau, instead of stock numbers. facebook itself, not even counting insta or whatsapp, continues to grow. it is hard to claim a "collapse" if the user base is growing
