Autocorrect is based on statistical prediction model. Most people, most of the time, did want to write "Salad" instead of Saad. I am Eastern European, I just add my name in the dictionary and problem solved.

I followed until the "I would be offering to pay for their relocation costs if I were them." - That would/could never happen.

Countries can speed up immigration process, companies can pay relocation costs. Not the other way around.

About two months ago we show HN'd www.zora.io - A tool to help landlords land and keep great tenants by using data analysis.

Since then we have head a steady 8% week over week growth. We closed a small seed round and added 4 developers to the team to work on the mobile app and keep improving the algorithm.

You have to be invited by a landlord to apply as a tenant (as you get associated to a property/unit)

9.) Legal liability. The same way that the accounting software still tells you to go and talk to a certified accountant in their terms.

10.) Our customers are landlords. As a tenant, you can apply from anywhere. But we cannot pull the data for "anywhere" so you will have no score.

They are focused on physical property management. We are trying to build a tool that would eliminate a need for property manager (for the most part at least).

In a way, we are complementary to each other.

Thank you. So far, we targeted smaller, citizen landlords (few units) but a lot of sign-ups are medium sized (100 to 500 units) property management companies.

Ask HN: Debt Collection as a Service?

Let's say that we have a web service called NUCO where you can login and upload a spreadsheet of your debtors or add them manually and you click on "collect debt" button. NUCO then builds a profile of the debtor based on their social media profiles, etc and determines the best channel and the best tone of contact. So for example, if we have a C level executive who seems to be paying all of his other bills on time we would take a moderate, very respectful (almost apologetic tone) however, if we send a collections message to someone who clicks on the link and reviews his debt but does noting, system would increase intensity and "seriousness" of the tone in the email messages/phone calls.

Some context:

Since NUCO is not doing collections itself but is instead giving automated tools to do collections to the creditor - nuco is not bound by the same rules and regulations placed on the collection agencies.

NUCO would take a cut on a sliding scale, based on the age of the debt. If a freelancer or a contractor submits a debt that is "only" 15 days overdue, NUCO would take a small cut (say 5%) however, more overdue the debt is, NUCO would take larger cut (say, 15% for a 90 days old debt).

There would be an API that would also allow people to automatically send someone to NUCO for collections if, for example, debt is over X days old.

Being a smart crowd, what is HN crowd's 2 cents on this?
