Wrong argument, since it's not just available to "the CIA" but every rando under the sun, people should be notified immediately if "tracking" them is possible and mitigation measures should become a common standard practice

Somewhere during the 2010s YouTube became completely sanitized. It went from a general video platform for adults to some dumbed down media company that wouldn't offend negligent mothers in Idaho that gave their kids an ipad rather than parent them
Barely literate workers in 3rd world countries then went on a mass "moderation" spree deleting anything that might even remotely be considered controversial
Videos with millions of views were delisted overnight and the associated channels received community standards violation strikes

whoever is involved with this know that future generations will curse you for it
Automatically identifying person-based characteristics is helpful in variety of industries for threat detection. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is interested in a video analysis tool that can automatically identify and catalog anthropometric characteristics that are important to On-Person Screening in real time. Toyon Research Corporation proposes to tackle this problem by breaking it into main parts to solve. First, the task of initially localizing and describing airline passenger characteristics can be framed as an object detection problem. Second, the task of tracking airline passengers across a video stream once the characteristics have been initially identified can be done through traditional tracking algorithms that have the ability to run in real-time.

The reason you do t hear much about it is because it's not an often discussed topic. Nonetheless the hate is there.
Dbus is a godawful mess. Imagine the windows registry, except it can only be inspected at runtime, contains executable binaries and is exceptionally fragile
