Xcode 27 beta 3 has been the most stable release I've ever used. The type checking improvements were understated so I gotta laugh at this xcode avoidance.
Areas they could improve - what ever the heck is going on in their diffing ui for source control.

Can you fix the resizing text box issue on Safari when a new line is inserted? When your question wraps to a newline Safari locks up for a few seconds and it's really annoying. You can test by pasting text too.

I mean... "In projects with many local Swift packages (~160 packages, ~2,100 targets), the "Compute target dependency graph" phase takes 60+ seconds"
I'm doubting this is a comparable setup for the vast majority of swift users. Is it unfortunate for people who land on this edge case - yes.
My experience shows it's fast and our iOS apps build faster than a feature parity Android app.

Posted for 2 hours and almost half the takes are pretty unhinged and downvoted.
I'd say this is pretty disappointing that they keep pushing these kinds of mass surveillance laws "just in case".
A preferable alternative is to have the hosts moderate the content they serve that is publicly available. But there are cons to that too - what content should be reported etc.

Same opinion. It just feels off. Why use `fun` for function declarations instead of func or function? Dropping () before { makes it hard to tell what runs first. It feels like it's trying to be different for the sake of being different. I'm not able to quickly skim kotlin code like other 'C-like' languages and tell what is going on because it's trying to be too clever.
