Storing video footage from weeks back does not seem feasible. I assume footage would get overwritten after a specific time period.

Amazon restricted my account because I tried to make a purchase while on the move. Amazon must have thought that somebody was trying to hack my account. I explained to Amazon customer support that it was me who was using my account to make an order while on a journey. Amazon said I would receive an email for a third party that would resolve this problem. I've had to speak to Amazon customer service multiple times because I have still not received this email. I can't make any orders on my Amazon account, my account is limited to only digital purchases such as subscriptions and memberships.

If Amazon wasn't a monopoly I would have found an alternative instead of dealing with this unnecessary stress.

The official python tutorial is poorly written and hard to understand in several places. How is someone new to the language supposed to learn a language when the official documentation is in such a state?

Open sourcing this would be a great idea and a lot of people would happily contribute, it already looks great. The biggest secret is that most doctors do more harm than good when a patient has anything worse than a cold. The psychopaths who couldn't make it as CEOs or serial killers end up becoming doctors, in charge of people's health.

Hey _l4jh, apologies for being off-topic but I came across your comment in this post https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27824447 but there was no way for me to reply there. Did you ever find an answer to what was causing your chest pain? And if you did were you able to treat it completely? I'm having the same symptoms you had, mostly a sore kind of pain in the centre of my chest, sometimes all over the surface of my stomach too.

I've always held the same view, I call it "companies taking the easy way out". Another recent example is Disney making the lion cast in The Lion King 2019 live action movie black. What a completely disingenuous statement. Disney could actually fund and make their first black male lead in a Disney movie, which would actually contribute significantly in addressing systematic racism in at least the movie/animation industry. Instead Disney chose to massage their egos so that whenever they get called out for the lack of black characters in leading Disney roles they can say but we had an all black cast for the lions in The Lion King.

I've always wondered if in future an archive like this can be used to train a machine learning powered cyborg boxer or even a robot boxer. This could be one of the incentives for preserving this archive. Surely with AI set to replace a lot of workers, boxers will also be affected

Isn't it obvious? Poor people. The politically favored are women but by opening this to all women you only help women who are already privileged not poor women living in ghettos or from other poor backgrounds

This is an excellent comment. As it stands only the already privileged will be accepted into the program which I find to be disgusting. At least the financial status of applicants should be taken into account.

Thinking of the problem as a nested for loop it's intuitive to see how you get 1000 combinations without the numbers being unique but I dont see how to get 720 combinations as the answer when each digit is different. Can you explain where 720 combinations comes from in the context I mentioned?
