I see a lot of discussions about government level spying, this is a legitimate debate, but it mustn't obscure the "boring" security threat storing the results of ps aux poses!
This is security 101 to never store this kind of information. I mean a bad actor now just has to (gain) access to these files!
I mean besides the theorical high level threat, there is a very practical one maybe sufficient for suing the company if it was a western one (I don't work in legal, I don't know what I'm saying)

According to Asahi's own documentation, they're far from done from the M3.
So I guess "now working" is probably a bit misleading...
https://asahilinux.org/docs/platform/feature-support/m3/#tab...

There is also the coopling issue: when your code depend of another part of your own code, it may be broken by this inner dependecy.
If the code is not intégration tested enough, then rarely used features may be broken without you noticing, thus the roting expression.
Modern standards help protect against this with the test pyramid.

I'm not sure about your argument.
For example, symphony can be used as a micro-framework since a long time (https://symfony.com/blog/new-in-symfony-2-8-symfony-as-a-mic...) and very few dependencies are required.
Relying on such heavy tested is a no brainier for me, especially because it offer well designed abstractions.
You seem to see them as dragging you down, I see them as opportunity to have hooks at the right place for free.
