I think this is definitely true for novel writing and stuff like that based on my experiments with AI so far.. I'm still on the fence about coding/building s/w based on it, but that may just be about the unlearning and re-learning i'm yet to do/try out.

Round 3:(and last round)
This time picked up one of PG's essays.... this one ..
https://paulgraham.com/disagree.html
>output
TL;DR:
1. Name-calling is weak.
2. Ad hominem attacks are weak.
3. Criticizing tone is weak.
4. Contradiction needs evidence.
5. Counterargument can be convincing.
6. Refutation is strongest, refute the central point.
7. Classifying disagreement helps identify dishonest arguments.
8. Being less mean makes people happier.

I fed it some top half of the lines from here.. Aljazeera about the ongoing conflict.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2024/9/15/israels-wa...
and got this as
> output
Israel's Gaza Shitshow: 26 Dead, Beit Lahiya Residents Told to GTFO
More rubble, more bodies, more bullshit. Israel's playing whack-a-mole with Palestinians, hitting schools because why the fuck not? Meanwhile, they're telling folks in Beit Lahiya to scram, probably to make room for more "totally not settlements, we swear."
Oh, and Israelis are protesting for a Hamas deal. Good luck with that.

Interesting that you read that comment as inequality...
> You're not going to convince folks the world is better when they know what kind of deal they're getting vs others out there
Somehow i read that as equal opportunities.... To me a fair deal generally means, something close to equal opportunities(of course, ceteris paribus, and rarely do we have all other things equal, but adjusting for it..)

Ahhh.. wouldn't that be better by using a percentage of filler words/total words in title threshold?? I don't know if a feature simply strips out the filler words in title, it's not always useful and rather harmful is what I would argue.

Ughhh.. I hate that word, especially when it refers to the protest acts like spaghetti on art, or slow march on a road delaying traffic etc... I think partly because it smells like a society that has started worshipping "traffic" or "business as usual" instead of doing that by deliberate choice.

I think it comes down the exploration vs maximization/exploitation instincts that grows and changes as a human being grows. For ex: teens/early adults has more exploration instinct.(it's a hypothesis that's true for at least some sections of human society, not sure how far it generalizes).
For me it was yahoo chat rooms that filled the need, this omegle founder had created to solve.(at least till it got filled with bots)
The real question is what will a teenager/(mostly exploration instinct person) today will use and will they even be able to anonymously talk to a stranger to share perspectives??
I don't know, perhaps because I have passed the majorly exploration instinct stage due to life's responsibilities and commitments, but I sometimes worry, that there's no such tool anymore.
