I use TortiseGit in my personal and work dev environments. It works works well. That being said, I have had to drop to CLI to fix things that were somewhat more hairy.

My understanding of it is the latter. FedEx provides warehouse space for retailers, and ship directly from their warehouse when an order is placed.

This is exactly right. My wife is a pharmacist and our state only recently implemented the database of medication history. In the past a seeker could go to any doctor, or any pharmacist and they would have no idea of this patients medical / prescription history. So even if they denied the patient their prescription, they would just go somewhere else. When WV tightened the restrictions and limits on suboxone seekers would just leave the state to get ahold of it.

As everyone has already said, conferences are expensive. However if you can find one that you maybe don't have to pay travel / lodging for (crash at a friends place, driveable distance, etc..) I say go for it. They can be extremely informational. Especially if you like front-end technologies.
As a front-end developer, knowing what's "around the corner" is helpful, but I wouldn't invest a lot of time in it. Browser support for many "around the corner" technologies and practices is so far off it's not (yet) worth the time investment.
So, conference if you can without blowing your whole budget, then online courses / books.

This is a really nice looking UI. Thanks, I'll look into using it on some upcoming projects.

Personally, I'm so sick of everyone being so damn sensitive about everything nowadays. Guess what? Business is business and 99.99% of the time CEO's are appointed on their business acumen and not their personal beliefs. If Eich is a professional he'll keep the two separate.
