here, what started as a small personal tool, I wanted to create an AI agent-friendly way to fetch and store financial data, like bank accounts, their respective balances and transactions and store them in a small SQLite database, to gather all of them in a single place, store them long term, and assign arbitrary metadata, for example, expense categories, etc.

There are not many PSD2 compliant providers, that allow access to personal bank accounts, but Enable Banking is one of the rare few. That is why it is the core of the engine used to access the financial data from different ASPSPs.

Thus, it is quite easy to register and set up a personal "application" and link your existing bank accounts to access them in the banker CLI.

Wanted to share a small CLI utility in Rust: doxxer!

It is a tool for working with Git repositories, more specifically, extracting and calculating current/upcoming semantic versions for your repo's tags.

It is heavily inspired by the output from "git describe --tags".

Why use anything else then? The output is not fully SemVer compliant and therefore I was modifying it in all my projects separately, which I wanted to avoid. Single binary, single predictable output.

It does not currently have pre-built binaries, so you have to install it via cargo, but it's in the roadmap!
