May I ask you what significant and meaningful thing you tried to do, and why you think you failed at it?

I've spent my 30s doing something similar and it's still unclear whether it will work out or not. And I've foregone essentially all else, including family.

opencode go is slowly losing its value. Most of the $60 for $10 have become $15 for $10. In addition to deepseek's api pricing going up 2x today.

you should be using opencode go - you get 6x the tokens for the same price. They also have free models. Kilocode and others also offer free models.

exact same path as me. I'm still stuck with 5 more months of Copilot annual subscription, but it was nerfed so badly that I just wrote it off completely. OpenCode go in VS Code is fantastic.

Are you aware that it is, in fact, Safari who holds all of the power over the direction of the web? Theyve been sandbagging it for a decade, so when it doesn't support important features, developers don't make use of them.

DS Flash is still cheaper across the board, especially with caching. Unless you're in a peak hours region (eg asia)

But, again, if they're just sending up html that contains links etc, how is it not self-contained and restful?

I suspect we can't really get to the bottom of this, as we don't know exactly what they're doing.

That seems too expensive to be honest. Did you do it with official deepseek api or a 3rd party provider? Because official has 10x cheaper cache reads than the rest. I've done similar sized chats for like $1
