I have browser bookmarks for things I go to frequently, but occasionally need to prune them due to actual disuse. For everything else, I used to use Pocket, but then switched to a self-hosted Wallabag interface. The UI could use a little tweaking, but it works for my purposes. There’re browser extensions to save stuff and even a decent iOS app.
That being said, I have the common problem of forgetting to actually read any of it later. I’ll have sessions where I go through it once or twice a month, cleaning out the “inbox”, but I have so many starred links I’ll probably never go back to, so I have to wonder sometimes: what’s the point?

There is something strangely compelling, to crib from another commenter, about this site, its throwback UI, and general “this seems like a good idea even if no one really uses it”actually potentially useful art-piece-ness.
I tried both recording something on the site and uploading a file (all from an iPhone), but neither worked.
Regardless, kudos on this project. Hope Bob gets his milk.

Hey HN!
I made a word search game like Boggle, but inspired by Wordle's look and feel. There is a default Daily mode that finds a 9-letter seed word from a list and then generates all the English words found in it (the word list needs work, though, I know), but also a Free mode if you just want to generate random puzzles of different difficulties.
The source is on Github: https://github.com/michaelchadwick/bogdle. A somewhat more extensive write-up is at https://michaelchadwick.info/blog/2022/10/25/bogdle-is-live.
I had a lot of fun making it, and hopefully you will have fun playing it, too. Let me know what you think and if you run into any troubles.
Cheers!

I do still use bookmarks, but only for places I go a lot, and I sync them via Chrome. Pocket is a godsend for the "cool links" that I check out when I have time and then usually archive away, never to look at again.

The title is somewhat misleading (it's catchy, though), but I agree with your points and think that while email is still a great catch-all communication tool, there are better ones when you're actually trying to work in a team on many projects.

I have also gotten expired link errors, too, and it's kind of jarring. I don't know of any other site that does its paging in this way, and I'm not sure of the advantage of doing it this way. All I experience is a reading session that can't be left alone for some arbitrary amount of time lest I lose my place.
