That's a really interesting idea. I would be curious to apply this ML method against a personal diary and see if it is possible to detect mental state changes overtime.

I disagree. I'm a early Algolia adopter(and an engineer) and as an engineer they are a no-brainer for me.

Search is really hard even with the best elasticsearch libraries. IMO the biggest blocker with algolia is the price. It's really hard to get company buy-in because leadership don't get it: "Just build it"

I'm pretty sure Apple has an entity in Europe therefor the money this entity makes in Europe should be taxed in Europe.

Yes it's a numbers game. Apply for as much job as possible and ask for a minimum of $200k base. With a little bit of back and forth you can settle for $180k and then get a lot of equity.

Yes but the author is American So he'll always have to pay US taxes even if he moves out of the US.(I'm aware about tax treaties but in most cases they still have to pay the difference)

The very likely overpriced. The healthcare industry made over $100 billion in the US only in 2018. I've experienced it first hand, UCSF tried to force me into buying a ($174) kneebrace for over $2400...

And the fact that they are threatening to sue for something they couldn't sell is disgusting.

Plenty of houses in outer richmond, sunset, ingleside, ... have multiple in-law units and converted garages. The cost of living is too expensive.

No they don't. No one in NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, ... have big garages to stockpile supplies and most of the US lives in those big cities with apartments without garages.

In the suburbs they do but that's a minority of the population.
