You are using MITM proxy as a service. In addition to analyzing all traffic and blocking legitimate users with captchas, they can inject stuff in there, too.

It's not only about blocking access to porn websites but children can access whatsapp groups where child predators are. Why can children access this content in those communication apps? It sounds like providers of these platforms must prevent children accessing those becquse children need to use such platforms to coordinate on their assignments and homeworks. This can be solved by having a "children-type" device account as someone else suggested. The app would know a child is using it and block access. No government id needed.

Will this prevent children from using Whatsapp, Messenger, Telegram and similar because this is where "dangerous" content is being shared. How will children communicate and cooperate on school assignments if those are blocked? Will only plain/text SMS be allowed to be used by children? What if someone texts them and offers money if they meet with a stranger. Maybe it's time to age-block SMS app too. Or maybe children should not use any smartphones. Or maybe they should use a special "android for children" where only a school approved apps can be run. I don't think this age API and age verification is needed!

Lightning is VERY important. What I like is cove lightning - led strips near ceiling, reflected from the white ceiling. And it is also good to have multiple lightning sources - dimer and slightly warmer to use towards the end of day (sunset) and red (or at least warm) for the night out near floor (like a a fireplace at night). Helps maintain natural circadian rhythms and easier sleep.

Just implement caches, add indices to your DBs, use CDNs. Servers are very fast nowadays, have quite a lot of RAM and can handle huge amount of clients. No need to implement this anti-bot bullshit, it is mainly marketing, providing solutions to a problem which doesn't exist for most websites.
