I started doing the free version of the course a few days ago - the lessons are excellent but what is even better are the homework tasks which allows me to run my tests locally!
It's sometimes easy to just listen and understand, but be unable to write the code myself - having this coding homework task has really helped me solidify this new knowledge.
10/10 would recommend

Hello there,
I'm building minidemo [https://minidemo.co]. It's a tool which turns websites into animated videos. I'm going off the intuition that the front page of websites usually need some kind of animated video of the product.
Instead of "rebuilding" the website from scratch in AfterEffects etc, why not just capture the website and animate that instead.
Here's one example to try: https://minidemo.co/example?id=cm44tfcue0057fychjktgzsq3
Hope to get some feedback - minidemo definitely is not perfect yet, and would love to hear about your bug complains and feature requests - feel free to reach out at neriymus@gmail.com

Just curious what your thought are regarding this (https://zaplib.com/docs/blog_post_mortem.html) if you have seen it. Does implementing a physics engine in Rust and complied in wasm provide you guys with quite a big performance boost? Asking because I've considered doing so for my team, but have reservations about the performance increase.

Good QAs are so important. There are so many bugs that would have never been found by us. In the past 3 weeks, both our QAs have been off, and the inbox list of problems have grounded to almost zero! Not because we are writing more-than-usual-amazing code, but because no one managed to find them.

Hi all, I've created a chrome extension that fetches the posts from websites I usually refresh manually from.
I read alot of reddit, and twitter, and hackernews, and I grew addicted to refreshing to get new updates. This extension does that for me, and filters posts which I have already seen. Happy to get any feedback/PRs! :)

This is slightly unrelated/related to the author's problem, but I've been working on creating something that can continually scrape websites for updates for me - and tell me when something has changed. Still a WIP, but if anyone's interested: https://fetcher.page
