I don't like this, but I understand it. I've contributed to the LB project several times, and I have made friends IRL with people who have also contributed to the project. ( we are now friends at uni ) It feels like a stepback because instead of 30-45 contributors every month, you have 15...

i feel like there should be a way to trust a PR ID verification or in-person verification at FOSDEM/DEFCON/Chaos Communication Congress,UNI's, for example.

The HAI is also funded with money from OpenAI, Antropic, and other big tech corporations. I don't know what you are trying to prove.

I agree.

Although I don't think the current AI training method will be able to do AGI etc. (I agree with Yann LeCun's POV)

Being young, I don't know how I feel about the philosophical idea of AGI.

I’m quite certain that a few months ago, some problems were claimed to be solved by AI. However, those claims were actually false and were exactly that, solved erdos problems that were not marked as solved and the solution was "found" by AI.

I agree with you; there should be more diversity in investments in EU startups, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not my money.

i remember reading about "lumina probiotic" Has anyone done research on it since, reviewing thier claims ?

their claims on their website:

replaces S. mutans, alters oral microbiome, reduces acid via ethanol metabolism, produces antibiotic, freshens breath, brightens teeth, lasts decades. etc

i am very skeptical of it

Arch is nice if you want to tinker. Based on your reasoning, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you still want arch-based, I would recommend EndevourOS, and for even a simpler/better distro, Bazzite.

Update August 28: A day after publication, Apple informed us that the distribution rights (notarization) were revoked due to sanctions-related rules.

“Notarization for this app was removed in order to comply with government sanctions-related rules in various jurisdictions. We have communicated this to the developer,” Apple told us.

No further context was provided, but the developer purportedly had a Russian developer account, despite living in Malta.
